WE ARE on the cusp of bigger things - a future where the Sunshine Coast will be able to train and employ the job seekers of the next generation.

The Sunshine Coast TAFE is negotiating the purchase of a block of land near the Sunshine Coast University Hospital to meet a surge in demand for workers in the health industry.

Once the sale goes ahead, TAFE will bid for a $60 million Federal Government grant to build a new training campus up to eight storeys high, employing up to 200 staff.
